Minister of Energy, Hon. Makozo Chikote, has appointed a new Board of Directors for the Rural Electrification Authority (REA).
The newly constituted Board includes representatives from key national institutions, with two members drawn from the Economic Association of Zambia and the Engineering Institute of Zambia, respectively. In addition, the Board features one representative from the Attorney General’s Chambers under the Ministry of Justice.
The appointment of the new Board is expected to strengthen governance, oversight, and strategic direction as REA continues to drive rural electrification and expand energy access across the country.
